As shown in the figure above, Professional Services Management System
® is made up of six sub-systems. They are: (1) K-Bridge Resource Information System, (2) K-Bridge Project Information System, (3) K-Bridge Timesheet Management System, (4) K-Bridge Expense Reporting System, (5) K-Bridge Invoice Supplement Creation System, and (6) Operation Reports. Functions of these subsystems are described in the following sections.
Please note that K-Bridge Inc. provides
K-Bridge Information System®
(KBIS) and K-Bridge Portal Enabler System®
(KBPE) along with the deployment of
Professional Services Management System®. If organization has previous installations of KBIS and KBPE, they can be leveraged to deploy the Professional Services Management System. KBIS provides ready-to-use information management system features and KBPE provides customizable portal and secure access to the users.
K-Bridge Resource Information System®
This is a
web based system that helps organization manage its resources. It provides ability to add, modify, deactivate, and remove resource information through easy to user interface. It also provides ability to manage resource skills & competencies, internal and external organization locations, organization structure, salary structure, designations, and country information. Upon deployment, K-Bridge Resource Information System® also provides directory of resources in the organization.
K-Bridge Project Information System®
This is a web based system that helps organization manage all of its project information. It provides ability to manage project budgeted hours, project duration, project phases, and resource allocations for the respective project phases. It also provides history of project information modifications. It also provides built-in ability so that appropriate projects can be made visible to individuals as per organization's business need.
K-Bridge Timesheet Management System®
This is a
web based system that helps organization manage their resources' timesheet
submissions, and approval workflow based on the project and non-project related
activities. K-Bridge Timesheet Management System®
allows resources to account for their time for only those projects on which
they are assigned by respective project managers.
K-Bridge Expense Reporting System®
This is a web based system that helps
organization manage their resources' project and non-project related expense
submissions, and approval workflow. K-Bridge Expense Report System®
allows resources to account for their billable and non-billable expenses and
their reimbursements.
K-Bridge Invoice Supplement Creation System®
This is a web based system that provides ability to create Invoice Supplement for the professional services delivery. Invoice Supplement detail of the service organization has provided and its cost to the customer. Invoice Supplement is then attached with the actual invoice that organization generates through their regular invoicing system. Invoice Supplement Creation System provides ability to manage one-to-one numbering between Invoice Supplement and Invoice.
K-Bridge Invoice Supplement Creation System® allows ability to create Invoice Supplements based on three types of billing methods: time based billing, fixed cost based billing, and time & fixed cost based billing.
Operation Reports
This is a web based system that provides various types of reports that are useful for the proper business visibility of the business operation of the organization.
