Overview

K-Bridge Information System® (KBIS) is K-Bridge Inc.'s flagship information management product which can be (1) used as a standalone product for the information management or (2) can be leveraged as a information management subsystem in the delivery of specific business process automation solution.  All the interactive features of KBIS are available to the software developers in the programming environment.

K-Bridge Information System® supports a wide variety of users and competencies that either create or access different types of knowledge.  Organizations produce several types of knowledge, for varied reasons, during different phases of the product life cycle for different types of target audiences.  As knowledge is produced, organizations face the growing problem of capturing, managing and selectively sharing this information among the users.  The K-Bridge Information System® provides an out-of-the-box solution to solve this problem.  Following figure provides the high-level overview of K-Bridge Information System®.

K-Bridge Information System® is an easy to use adaptable environment where organizations store all types of information: data, audio, video, XML, office documents, reports, etc.  In addition to storage, it provides the structure to organize and manage this information into useful knowledge, and present it in a user-friendly and searchable fashion, to the target knowledge users.  Using K-Bridge Information System®, organizations can selectively share knowledge between different divisions, Call Centers, Partners, customers, and even knowledge user and submission applications.

Following are some of the licensing highlights of K-Bridge Information System®.  Please contact K-Bridge Inc. for additional information on licensing:

  • K-Bridge Information System® licensing is based on number of concurrent accesses to the K-Bridge Information System® server.  Concurrent server access based licensing is much more cost effective than the traditional per seat license because in the per seat licensing scheme, customer pays for every seat even though the usage of seat is rare or minimal.

  • K-Bridge Information System® license comes out to be approximately 1000$ per year per concurrent user access to the server.  Licensing price drops even further for larger number of concurrent user accesses per K-Bridge Information System® server.

    For example, if customer buys 20 concurrent user access license for the K-Bridge Information System®, at any given time 20 users can access the system simultaneously even though the total number of users who can access K-Bridge Information System® is much larger than 20.  K-Bridge Inc. offers ability to increase license for the higher number of users at any time without any major software upgrades.

  • Standard Support and upgrade of K-Bridge Information System® is free with the current license.  Customer need not pay any additional cost for the standard support and upgrade as long as customer's K-Bridge Information System® license is current.
